Financing - Information and Preferred Lenders Home Buyers - Have you been pre-approved for a home loan? When shopping for a home, it is important to know what you can qualify for, so you can search for properties within a realistic price range. This will also let you know what to expect in terms of down payment requirements and monthly payments. When making an offer to purchase a home, you want your offer to be attractive and taken seriously by the seller. This will help you compete against other buyers, and it can help you to get a better price on the home. The pre-approval letter from a professional lender will be submitted with your purchase offer, and a good lender will support your qualifications to the seller. What is the difference between Pre-Qualification and Pre-Approval? A pre-qualification letter is not as strong as an Approval letter. The pre-qualification letter is simply an estimate based on what the lender has been told. It comes with stated assumptions and is subject to an actual credit check and loan underwriting process. The Approval letter, on the other hand, gives much better assurance that the loan applicant is qualified, and that the loan will be approved. One of the first steps in the process of looking for a home, is to speak with a professional lending consultant and to get pre-approved for a home loan. Where can you find a competent and professional lender? I always work with professional lenders to assist my clients with their financing needs. This allows me to focus on real estate so I can provide the best service possible. Following is a list of lending consultants who I am happy to recommend. These are capable and experienced lending consultants who I have worked with in the past. Any of these professionals will be happy to work with you to find the best financing available for your particular needs. They can get you pre-approved either on-line, over the telephone, or in a face to face meeting, and they have a vast array of lending programs available.
